STAAR (Survive. Thrive. Advocate. Advance Research.) will host its 2025 Patient Conference from February 7-8, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Houston-Greenway Plaza in Houston, Texas. This specialized conference focuses on Low-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer (LGSOC) and brings together patients, survivors, caregivers, and leading medical experts for two days of education, support, and celebration.

The conference features presentations from renowned LGSOC experts, including Dr. David Gershenson and Dr. Rachel Grisham from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, who will discuss the latest developments in LGSOC research, treatment options, and clinical trials.

The event includes workshops, breakout sessions, and networking opportunities designed to empower the LGSOC community. A special highlight is “Dancing with the STAARs,” a celebratory dinner and dance marking STAAR’s 5-year anniversary, with complimentary tickets provided to LGSOC patients and survivors.
