Not These Ovaries' Inaugural Dinner: An Evening of Purpose in Nikai at the Harbour Club

Not These Ovaries hosted its first charity dinner last February 2nd, 2025, bringing together supporters and community members for an intimate evening at Nikai within Miami Beach’s exclusive Harbour Club. 

The sold-out event marked the beginning of a distinctive dinner series that combines exclusive access to members-only venues with meaningful support for ovarian cancer research.

Driving Research Forward at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach

Through ticket sales and additional donations, the event raised enough funds to support a month of critical research at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida. 

With a crowd of 50 attendees, the event raised $7,500. In addition to $2,500 donated by attendees and those who joined us, each $250 ticket provided $100 directly to research funding ($125 went to food and venue, and $25 went to service for the staff), while our generous Patron Fund supporters ensured additional event elements — wine pairings, gift bags, live music and DJ, and event signage — didn’t impact the donation amount.

The evening was made possible through the generous support of our sponsors. Special thanks to Bacardi, Grey Goose, HeavenSake, Kingston Family Vineyards, and our gracious hosts at Harbour Club for their commitment to advancing ovarian cancer research.

The evening departed from traditional charity dinner formats, focusing instead on fostering genuine connections among guests in an elegant setting. Emily and Chris Campbell, founders of Not These Ovaries, joined attendees for an evening of Japanese cuisine and purposeful conversation about advancing ovarian cancer research.

The success of this event demonstrates the power of bringing together community members who share a commitment to advancing medical research. By combining exceptional experiences with purposeful giving, Not These Ovaries is creating new pathways for supporting critical research initiatives.
