This awareness day spotlights Low-Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer (LGSOC), a rare and persistent form of ovarian cancer affecting 6,000-8,000 women in the U.S. This awareness day was created by the amazing teams at STAAR Ovarian Cancer Foundation and Verastem Oncology, this day addresses the critical need for increased awareness, as research shows 99% of diagnosed patients had no knowledge of LGSOC before diagnosis.
